The heart and pieced border in this quilt is made from your loved ones clothing. The small hearts are appliqued using the raw edge technique. Roughly, six shirts are needed. A good variety of shirts will aid in the overall look of this quilt.  I can use other types of clothing as well.The finished quilt options  are roughly 60 x 60" square (5ft. X 5ft.) and 90"x90". Each quilt includes an embroidered dedication label on the back. Aside from the personal clothing, all quilts are made with quality quilter's cotton.  The back of the quilt is the same quilter's cotton as top. You may upgrade to flannel or plush for an additional cost listed in the options. There are variations to this quilt to accommodate the size or finished look you would like.
